Training Requirements
To ensure a safe, structured, and professional training environment, every student must bring or purchase the proper Muay Thai equipment.
Having the correct gear is not only about comfort — it protects you and your training partners and allows our trainers to work with you effectively from day one.
Gloves
- 10–12 oz gloves (ideal for pad work and heavy bag training)
- 16–20 oz sparring gloves (mandatory for sparring)
Sparring gloves must be high-quality and well-padded. Thai-made gloves are strongly recommended.
Shin Guard
- Shin guards must be well-padded and fully cover both shins and feet.
- Light or amateur-level shin guards are not suitable for sparring.
Skipping Rope
- Thai-style heavy rope
Traning Clothing
- Muay Thai shorts or similar athletic wear]
- Comfortable training attire suitable for intense sessions
Protection Gear
- Hand wraps
- Mouthguard
- Groin guard (for men)
- • Breast and genital protection (optional for women)
- Knee protection
Accessories
- Small towel for drying sweat during training
- Running shoes
- Hat or cap for outdoor morning runs
Swimming Essential
- Pool towel
- Swimsuit
Many students use the pool for recovery and regeneration after training.
For Fighters
- Sauna suit (for weight-cutting sessions before fights)
Additional Recommendations
- Personal water bottle
- CR7 Drive sports drink by Herbalife (available at the camp)
Equipment Purchase or Rental
If you are traveling light, we offer a complete range of Muay Thai equipment for sale in our shop. Rental options are also available.
Please note: every student must use their own personal equipment during training.
Important Notice
Sparring without proper gloves and shin guards is strictly prohibited. This rule protects you, your partner, and the long-term training atmosphere of the gym.
